  1. I can’t think of an industry where it is acceptable to randomly kill, seriously injure and traumatise members of the public, who have the right to be where they are. Why is farming an exception? The cost of protecting the public would not wash in in any other industry.

    Many farms are crossed by roads which do not generally have cows roaming across them. Why aren’t footpaths given similar consideration?
